Looking for a way to give back, enjoy the outdoors, and make meaningful connections? Join us for FARMILY Fridays! This weekly volunteer group is the perfect opportunity to dig into farm life, meet new people, and be part of something special.
Guided by our Horticulture Therapy Practitioner, volunteers will take part in hands-on farm tasks like gardening, landscaping, weeding, pruning, and planting. Whether you’re an experienced green thumb or just looking to learn, this is a welcoming space for all skill levels.
But it’s not just about the work—it’s about community! At Providence Farm, we believe in the power of people coming together, sharing stories, and creating a space where everyone belongs. After a fulfilling morning outside, we’ll gather for a delicious lunch, giving you time to unwind and connect.

Volunteer Job Description:

Providence Farm hosts a multitude of therapeutic programs & events throughout the year. The landscaping volunteer program will include a wide variety of activities, ranging from greenhouse & cold frame plant care to mid-scale property landscape maintenance. All initiatives are designed to encourage volunteers to connect with the land and each other through the care of plants & immersion of nature.

Tasks include general gardening & landscaping can include (but not limited to): Weeding, planting, mulching, pruning, raking, mowing, line trimming, invasive removal, composting, moving aggregates / soil / mulch, general clean up.
